By accessing and using TorqueBot, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

TorqueBot provides AI-powered automotive assistance, including:

• Part number identification and recommendations
• Price comparison across retailers
• Maintenance guidance and how-to information
• Vehicle-specific insights and specifications

TorqueBot is not a substitute for certified mechanical advice. You remain solely responsible for vehicle safety decisions, inspections, and complying with road laws and warranty requirements.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use

Username Requirements:

• Usernames must be 3-30 characters, using only letters, numbers, and underscores
• Usernames must start with a letter and are case-insensitive
• You may only change your username once every 30 days
• Changing your username will break existing links to your Build Cards
• Certain usernames are reserved (brand names, offensive terms, system routes)

You must be at least 16 years old to use TorqueBot. You are responsible for ensuring any information you provide is accurate and that only you use your account. We may suspend accounts for fraud, impersonation, or repeated policy breaches.

Build Cards are available on both Free and Pro plans. They let you create shareable profiles of your vehicle builds. By creating a Build Card, you agree to the following:

• Public Visibility: Build Cards set to public are accessible to anyone via your unique URL (@username/car-name)
• Content License: You grant TorqueBot a non-exclusive license to host, display, generate social/share images, and promote your Build Card content as part of the service. You can revoke the license by deleting the Build Card, subject to reasonable backup retention.
• Plan Availability: Build Cards can be used on Free and Pro. Certain advanced capabilities may require a Pro subscription, and if Pro access lapses those Pro-only capabilities pause until you resubscribe
• Content Ownership: You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload, but you represent that you have the right to share this content

Content Moderation:

• Users may report Build Cards for inappropriate content, spam, or policy violations
• Build Cards with multiple reports may be automatically hidden pending review
• We reserve the right to remove content or hide Build Cards that violate our policies
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination

We log Build Card analytics (views, saves, shares) and may collect IP addresses to deduplicate metrics and detect abuse. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact support@torquebot.io with details so we can investigate and, if appropriate, remove or disable access.

Free Tier: Limited to 5 messages per day with basic features.

Pro Tier ($9.99/month): Unlimited messages, price comparisons, multiple car support, Build Cards, and priority features on web (Stripe billing). Apple App Store and Google Play pricing may differ (currently $12.99/month) and their store terms apply.

• Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel.
• Web purchases: manage/cancel in your TorqueBot account (Stripe). App Store / Google Play purchases: manage/cancel in your Apple or Google account settings.
• Taxes or FX fees may apply based on your region; prices may change with at least 30 days notice where required.
• No refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law; chargebacks or payment failures may suspend access.
• If your Pro lapses, Build Cards and Pro-only features become inaccessible until you resubscribe.

App Store and Google Play transactions are governed by Apple and Google terms. We do not control their billing policies, and you must address store-specific billing issues directly with Apple or Google.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Scrape or harvest data from our platform
• Resell or commercialize our service without permission
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or payment requirements
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, except where permitted by law
• Use the service or outputs to train competing AI models without our consent
• Use TorqueBot while driving or in situations where distraction could create safety risks

All content on TorqueBot, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of TorqueBot or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit but grant us a license to use it for providing our services. Third-party trademarks (e.g., vehicle brands, retailers) remain their owners' property and are used only for identification.

If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@torquebot.io with details (content URL, your contact info, proof of ownership). We may remove or disable access while we review.

TorqueBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Always verify fitment, safety, and regulatory compliance with qualified professionals before acting on guidance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or data
• Errors or inaccuracies in content
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Service interruptions or downtime

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Change pricing with 30 days notice
• Update these Terms as needed

We will post updates to these Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harmful behavior toward other users or our service

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your access stops and public content may be removed or hidden. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period for security, compliance, or audit purposes where legally required.
